Halloween Happenings

This year we held our first pumpkin carving party {so much fun...by the way plastic drop cloths are fantastic for pumpkin carving}, playgroup Halloween party, Town Creek Halloween carnival, Curtis's first school dance/carnival {he's so old, and had a lot of fun}, and Trick-or-Treating with friends...here are some highlights...

Ollie the Monkey {not a far stretch}

This year I challenged the older kids to come up with their own costumes...they did a great job, the all went with pirate {Hailey is a skeleton pirate}.

Hailey LOVED creating her own costume, she altered a dress that had a broken zipper, used the lining to make a 'vest' and did it all completely on her own :) {she is her mother's daughter}

Owen was a little excited....just a little...

Ollie 'stole' a package of whoppers after the first house, and tried to eat them packaging and all {and almost succeeded}

The kids all made out like bandits, with overflowing candy buckets, they were happy :)
