Decorating For Christmas

I have yet to get a good picture of my decorated house, it seems like this year things become undecorated before I get a chance...my tree has been completely undecorated from Oliver's height down for most of the month {seriously, we never, ever had a problem like this with the other kids....I guess we all have to go through it once}.

And we have had the worst luck with our tree...first a few of the lights on it were not working & it looked sad...so we added some more lights, then a big section of the new lights stopped working.  I then rearranged the lights to fill in the gaps, now just the other day 3/4 of the way up the tree about a section of the original  lights {probably a scant quarter of the tree} stopped working completely...our tree looks so SAD right now...

 So hopefully sometime before Christmas, my house will be clean, decorations will be where I put them & I can take some pictures :) {I'm crossing my fingers}  But until then here are some pictures of us decorating on the day after Thanksgiving...
