We had a great Christmas Eve...had so much fun baking cookies, decorating "gingerbread" houses & carrying on family traditions. Each Christmas eve we read the last book in our countdown...always "The night before Christmas" & then the story of Jesus' birth from Luke 2...then it's time to open presents...the kids get to open 2, one from Papa and Shorty--always p.j.s. The second is from a family tradition passed on from my family, the kids draw names & get each other a gift, which is opened on Christmas Eve...everyone loved what they got. After that we watched a Christmas movie--it was still early...Owen couldn't wait any longer to do presents...he woke up Christmas Eve asking if it was time to open presents yet :) It was a great day...
