New Hearing Aids
After 4 years, being dropped in a tub (and just about everywhere else), broken battery doors, and general miss-use and abuse by a little boy....Curtis' old hearing aids have "moved on" and he has brand new hearing aids. When we got Curtis' first hearing aids, there weren't kid ones from us to choose from (so he had adult ones which flopped off his ears a lot). This time he has kid ones, which are a lot smaller, and the best feature-he got to choose the color- he choose green and they are see-through (which is cool, you can see all the little parts. Curtis loves them and thinks they look cool, and that they work so much better (I'm surprised his old ones worked at all) :) They also have a button that he can push to eliminate some of the background noise, which is nice (he usually just ended up taking them out in noisy places-because he couldn't hear us talking and it was just too loud). They also came with a Mickey Mouse Club House book about a bunny who needs hearing aids, a new Mickey case for all his hearing aid gear, and a Mickey Cuddly (I wish they had these when he was 5 and getting them for the first time). He is excited and we are all excited for him.

Curtis, those are some cool earing aids!!! I like the color you picked out! Looks like you got some great Mickey Mouse stuff too.
